Welcome to the July/August 2010 issue of the Small Business Centre Newsletter.
 
Summer is half over and for many, family vacations are starting to dwindle. We're experiencing a steady increase of inquires from those seeking advice on starting a business as well as our existing clients seeking help with growth and expansion.
 
There seems to be a constant "hunger" for marketing and sales information and training, so make sure you check out our Advanced Business Seminars Series. We will be covering marketing this month and sales in September (details to follow in the next months newsletter).
 
There are many exciting events and seminars coming this Fall. Networking Wednesdays will be back with our September 1st Charity BBQ and our Annual Entrepreneur's Conference is just around the corner (October 20).

This program provides hands-on business training and mentoring - together with awards of up to $3,000 - to help enterprising young people (full-time students aged 15-29) start and run their own summer businesses. It is a competitive program with a limited number of awards each year.
