Self Employment
Benefit Program (SEB)

For individuals currently or previously eligible for Employment Insurance, SEB participants will receive income along with business planning and skills development workshops, one-on-one business advisory services, networking opportunities and access to extensive business resources.

Ontario Works (OW)

The Ontario Works program is funded by the City of London. The Small Business Centre provides a series of workshops where participants are introduced to the process of exploring self-employment and the business plan.

SEED

Self Employment Exploration & Development (SEED) provides counselling, business advice and support to potential entrepreneurs with barriers or disabilities.

Summer Company

Summer Company is a great opportunity for enterprising young people who want to start and run their own summer businesses. The program provides business coaching, mentoring, training and an award of up to $3,000.

BizPlan Competition

The Small Business Centre in partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade is challenging high school students to produce a winning business plan. Local business owners will judge your plan. 1st Place: $1000, 2nd: $500, 3rd: $250.
