1) Be between 15 and 29 years old and currently a student and
returning to school in the fall (proof of enrollment required)
2) Proposing a new sole proprietorship or corporation in Ontario
that you plan to operate independently from relatives
3) Compose a business plan and submit it to the committee for evaluation.
4) Prepared to make a commitment of at least 35 hours a week
(minimum of 8 to 12 weeks) and not working for more than 12 hours at
another job
5) A Canadian citizen or landed immigrant residing in Ontario
6)New to Summer Company - you can't be a previous recipient of a
Summer Company award
7) Applicants under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their
application.
8) Agree to follow government rules and regulations for operating a
